We ingest quarterly releases from ONS, DfE, HESA, NHS Digital, and awarding organisation returns — all published under the Open Government Licence.
Vacancies are mapped to Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) codes. Qualifiers are matched to the same codes via subject linkage tables.
We compute a simple demand ratio: vacancies ÷ annual qualifiers. Above 1.0 means the market needs more people than it produces. Below 1.0 means competition.
All outputs are published with their source, methodology note, and date of data. Nothing is smoothed, projected, or estimated without a clear label.
